Training

We have been training many different types of working/sporting dogs (and horses) for decades including retrievers, search and rescue, etc.; but have focused on our love for the pointing upland field dog for the last 11 years.

We utilize positive reinforcement and place heavy emphasis on handler–dog bonding to ensure both work as a team in the field. The dog must trust that the handler will utilize wind, terrain and cover to place the dog in the best position for success. The handler must trust the dog’s breeding and nose and natural hunting instincts.
